Internal Communication Systems commenced business in 1974, supplying and installing telephone and door entry systems to businesses and residents associations and management companies in the South East of England.
Early customers of our products were BP, the Government Training Services Agency, and the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Croydon.
Rental facilities for systems were provided early to enable customers to modernise and improve security, without the need for large capital outlays and to provide regular income for the company in times of poor sales.
Later, fire, home security, and CCTV systems were installed and maintained due to strong customer demand for these services. The new services attracted further new customers, such as Shell International and the Ministry of Defence.
Perimeter protection systems were added to our security portfolio, looking after famous sites such as the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club. Similar systems protect the model of the Concorde at the entrance to Heathrow Airport and Buckingham Palace.
